Our latest edition to the Whittaker's range I present our very special Award Winning Barley Mow Vodka.  This is not like any vodka you have tasted.  It is more like a white whisky. It is 42% ABV made from Yorkshire Barley.  We put it through the brewing process but not adding any hops.  It is then fermented for 5 days before being distilled through our 21 plate rectification column to produce this truly delicious Vodka.

It has malted barley and beer, earthy and subtle whisky notes on the nose and the palette.  It has a warm and spicy taste with a long, warm, lingering after taste of malty beer. 

We called this product Barley Mow as the song The Barley Mow is a song celebrated in the traditions of the folk music of Ireland, England and Scotland.  “The Barley Mow” has become a drinking song sung while comrades empty their glasses. With this glorious Vodka, less is definitely more - Perfect served just simply over ice neat or with an ice cold tonic water.   Our Distiller Blake enjoys this with a Double Dutch Ginger Beer.

Distilled in limited batches and lovingly bottled and labelled by hand at our family home.
